Someone Needs To Be Honest With You

You won’t like this.
And it’s going to be hard to accept.
So let me ease you into this by introducing you to my new client, Lee.
He slid into my DM’s and asked me about my coaching service and how much I charged.
I told him the best thing to do was book a call with me so I could run him through how my service works, what I offer and the price.
So, at 9 am on Tuesday, that’s what I was doing.
Lee’s a cool guy.
Tattooed, Nike running t-shirt and a 5 panel cap on his head.
Here’s his stats:
Four.
The number of Papa Johns deliveries he orders per month.
Eight.
The number of Uber Eats orders he places per month for office lunches.
Twelve
The number of times he’s popped to the off-license after work and bought cookies, sweets and “a couple of beers”.
Lee’s spending around £260 a month on fast food, sugary snacks and beer.
But he had the cheek to sit there and tell me he needed time to consider his finances before signing up for coaching with me.
And this is where you roll your eyes, close the blog post and maybe even unfollow me on other platforms.
Because I’ve hit a nerve.
But my job is to have difficult conversations.
I’m prepared to have this particularly touchy one if it saves your health and finances.
I do not deny coaching is a luxury.
But I also know for a fact more people can afford it than they think.
Because it’s not that they don’t have the money left at the end of the month to pay for it. It’s that they don’t want to spend their takeout, alcohol and clothes allowance on it.
Which is fair enough. But let’s not beat about the bush.
Coaching with me is an investment averaging the same amount as a weekly takeout.
It’s also the same as the average price of one personal training session a week here in the UK.
But with a PT it’s one hour of exercise.
With me, it’s a “coach in your back pocket.”
As value for money goes, I win.
So here’s what I said to Lee…
“You have the potential to change your life today. Not just in terms of your health, but also your finances.”
Because when Lee signs up for coaching with me, he won’t need to buy even half of the shit food and beer he is now.
Let’s say he cuts back to one Uber eats lunch a week, one takeout a month and does all of his grocery shopping at Aldi, not the off-licence.
He saves about £180 a month on his current sugar bill.
And what happens to that pot now he’s started coaching with me?
He’s still up by £40 a month.
He’s in profit.
And, if that wasn’t enough, he’s now going to add literal years to his life by losing 20kg, reducing his risk of getting diabetes and unclogging an artery or two.
So I ask you…
Can you afford to not start coaching?
Could be with me.
Could be with Tony Tight Pants at your local gym.
Because if it saves your health and puts you in profit, I don’t care.
Look after yourself and invest into your health.
If you do want it to be with me, let's have a chat.
